Extract: Hello, my name is Ese Abigail, and I am a wig and hair extension specialist. Before reaching this point, I had to learn through trial and error. Every time I started something, I began with nothing: no money, no resources, just my skills and myself. Each time I started over, I was one step ahead, armed with more knowledge and wisdom from the previous experience. I am an example of making the best of what you have and taking action where you are.

My earliest memory of doing hair dates back to when I was between the ages of 3 and 5 in Nigeria. I recall my hairdresser aunt teaching me how to do single braids with hair extensions. Another memory took place when I was 11 years old in year 6. During a role play with my siblings, I discovered I could do cornrows on a doll's head. Though the cornrows were a bit messy, I remember feeling incredibly excited and proud of myself.

Moving forward to my secondary school years, during the popular era of the fringe with a track hairstyle, and by sixth form, I became the go-to hairstylist for my sisters, friends, and peers in Milton Keynes, doing braids and weaves for fees ranging from £0 to £30.

After my first year of university in 2013, I decided not to return home. With my retail job at 'Menkind' paying me only £5 per hour, I knew I wouldn't make it through the summer. So, I got glammed up, hit the streets of Nottingham, and distributed some business cards. Charging just £25 per weave and £35 for single braids, and apparently excelling in my craft, I soon became the most recommended hairstylist among NTU and Uni of Nottingham students. After graduating in 2015, I made the decision to pursue a full-time career in the hair industry. Now, I provide wig and hair extension services, selling products for prices as high as £1000+ for a single wig.

Although I enjoyed my journey, I always searched for a concise guide that encompassed all the fundamental information and processes needed to set up a successful business in the hair industry. Unfortunately, it wasn't easy to find.

Despite the abundance of free information available on the internet, there is also a lot of unnecessary noise in between. This can often be overwhelming and distracting.

That is why I decided to create an easy-to-follow, step-by-step guide that will assist you in achieving your goals and making your dreams a reality with minimal stress and hassle.

I am delighted to present this guide to you. I hope the information and my shared experiences will aid you on your journey to becoming a specialist in your field, just as it has helped me.
